My charity golf tournament was on Saturday, it was also the first time in 7 years, that it didn’t rain, yahoo! I can’t believe it’s been 7 year since my BFF passed, not a day goes by that I don’t think of her smiling face. Running a charity is a wonderful way to keep her memory alive, and the perfect way of giving her wish to give back a reality. We give to families all across Canada, battling both cancer and other illnesses, in hopes to brighten their day. It’s 100% non-profit, meaning all the money raised goes right back into the hands of people that need it. It’s a lot of work, but so rewarding. We’re up to $250,000 in donations, wow a quarter of a million dollars, that’s insane. That’s a lot of lives changed. All of the amazing guest and donors that support each event helps much needed families. We’d be nothing without them. Thanks to everyone who’s supported The DASH over the past 8 years, your support and donations have made a world of difference.
