Fit And Flare

Flared Skirt

A mid length skirt, aka a midi skirt, is a must have this season. I know it can be a little scary, it’s a lot of material and can go horribly wrong. The trick is to balance the proportions. Since the skirt has a ton of volume and covers up a lot of the legs, you should combine it with a form-fitting blouse or sweater. Another option, like I did with this fit and fare skirt, is to take it up a few inches. This gives the allusion of longer legs and you don’t have to worry about appearing shorter. Another get tip is to always tuck in your shirt and pair it with a killer pair of heels. This fit and flare skirt makes quite a bold statement on its own, without the use of a lot of accessories.
