JORD (Swedish for earth, soil, land) Wood Watches is a St. Louis based company that creates unique and innovated wood watches that are as distinctive as their owners. Each watch is made from 100% natural and sustainably sourced wood from across the globe, and feature a modern and chic design. Although not designed to be waterproof, each watch is designed to be splash proof, as long as it’s not completely submerged into water. Also a key feature that I love, they offer free sizing on all their watches. Just send in your wrist measurements and JORD will take out the extra links for you. This not only will save you time at the jewelers, but money. Some places charge upwards of $20 to take extra links out.

I’m extremely impressed with the quality, the packaging and the design of this beautiful JORD Fieldcrest maple wood watch. Its classic midsize isn’t too overpowering on my tiny wrist, yet still makes a statement. It’s lightweight, yet heavy enough to stay in place and without feeling “cheap”. I’m obsessed with the monochromatic wood face and the fact that you can see the wood grain, making each watch truly special and different in its own way. It also has a unique push button buckle that’s hidden, keeping the entire back of the band invisible. This natural light wood shade will go with every single piece of clothing I wear and I look forward to rocking it with several outfits this summer.
