You’ll need to mix the oils and raw cane sugar together, to create the perfect consistency, that isn’t too thick or runny, before applying it to your body. The small crystals are rough enough to effectively exfoliate the skin and slough off all dead skin cells to reveal a smoother, softer finish, yet gentle enough that it doesn’t do more harm than good. I simply scoop out a small amount, while I’m in the shower and rub, in circular motions, all over my damp body. The majority of grains will melt into the skin as you massage into the skin. The sugar crystals, combine with the hydrating oil, not only provide all day smoothness, it deeply moisturizes the skin. It has a slightly strong, yet fresh and clean scent that leaves your skin delicately fragranced. It spreads on easily, and although the actual grains wash clean away, you will be left with a slight oily residue afterwords. It’s like you just applied a daily body oil without the second step.
