Reversa Solution for Oily and Acne-Prone Skin Review

Reversa Solution for Oily and Acne-Prone Skin Review

Dissolve and eliminate excess oil

Reversa is quickly becoming one of my favourite skincare brands, and although I’m not quite ready to give up on my new Holy Grail lineup from Paula’s Choice, I’ve been adding a new product into my morning lineup these past few weeks. I am still battling with the odd breakout, and although I don’t suffer from acne, I can’t seem to keep those pesky blemishes away. Reversa has a product that’s designed for teens and adults that struggle with acne and breakouts on a daily basis, like myself, and this is a quick and easy solution to this problem.

Reversa Solution for Oily and Acne-Prone Skin helps to dissolve and eliminate excess oils and fats to help clear skin pores and even out complexion. My main concern with acne treatments, although it does tend to clear up my occasional breakouts, is it often leaves my skin feeling extremely dry. For someone who already suffers from dry skin, this is just another problem to add to the constant battle. Since this unique and innovated product is formulated with 8% glycolic acid and skin penetrating alpha hydroxy acid, it not only exfoliates and promotes skin cell renewal, it keeps my dry skin somewhat hydrated. It does a wonderful job at lightly sloughing off dead skin, giving a brighter, healthier, more even complexion, without the blemishes. It’s incredibly lightweight texture absorbs into the skin within seconds, doesn’t feel sticky or greasy, nor does it clog pores, which in return, can cause more breakouts. It’s totally unscented and oil-free, which makes it the perfect treatment to apply under makeup and foundation. It doesn’t feel heavy or oily on the skin, but does a wonderful job at removing excess impurities.

Like I said, it’s only been a few short weeks, but my breakouts are totally under control now. I’m mainly using this as a blemish treatment by applying a small amount to troubled areas. For a blemish that would take days to disappear, it is now gone within a day or two. I’ve also been concentrating on my problem areas, such as my nose, cheeks and chin after my daily moisturizer, to help keep the breakouts from “popping” up.

Overtime the Reversa Solution for Oily and Acne-Prone Skin will actually help rejuvenate my skin and leave it looking radiant and blemish free. It’s also formulated with amino acid and skin protecting Allantoin to help the stinging and irritating sensation that you may experience from the glycolic acid. I’ve been using glycolic acid for years, so I don’t experience any irritation, but those with sensitive skin will benefit from these added ingredients. My skin is already looking clearer and visibly smoother and brighter in just a short amount of time. I love that it can easily be integrated into my current skincare routine, without interfering with the effectiveness of my other products. It retails for $36 for 120ml.
