Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Collection Review

Clear, Healthy Skin in 3 Simple Steps

I think I’ve literary tried everything on the market to help clear up my breakouts. Although I have found some that work, they’re either fairly expensive or strip my skin of its natural oils, which in return, leave my skin feeling extremely dry and irritated.

I received a sample of the Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Oil a few months ago and instantly fell in love. It has the same benefits as Benzoyl Peroxide, but with fewer side effects. It’s 100% pure and natural and is a highly powerful antiseptic that inhibits a broad spectrum of bacteria and fungi and cleanses and protects skin abrasions. Best part, it doesn’t inhibit normal cell growth. Any breakouts I had on my skin, I would apply a small drop and watch as it would almost instantly clear up my blemish within days. Of course, it does take some time to get used to the smell. I’m not going to lie, I hated it at first and almost wanted to wash it off. After a few days, I was totally used to it and could hardly notice it. Since the tea tree oil on its own had dramatic effects on my skin, I knew I had to try the entire collection. Thursday Plantation Tea Tree 3 step program is formulated with the antibacterial power of pure Australian Tea Tree Oil that will effectively reduce mild to moderate acne.
Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Oil

The first step is to cleanse your skin with Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Face Wash Foam. It’s an-all natural, soap free formula that will cleanse without stripping the skin of its natural oils or without drying it out. It gently, yet effectively, cleanses the skin by removing buildup of excessive oils and other impurities. It’s not only formulated with tea tree oil, but organic chamomile to help soothe the skin and reduce redness. It comes to a decent lather, washes clean away, all while keeping the skin soft and smooth.

Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Face Wash Foam, of course, comes in a handy, easy to use, pump style packaging, to ensure no air gets in, causing bacteria to grow, which in return, can cause breakouts. It has a lightweight, almost mousse like, whipped, fluffy, foam texture that applies effortlessly to the skin, without having to work into a lather beforehand. I absolutely love a product that does the work for me. It did a wonderful job at gently removing dirt, oil and even makeup from my skin, without leaving it tight or dry. My skin was left feeling squeaky clean, hydrated and calm. Although the tea tree smell is extremely strong, and not particularly appealing, it did actually leave my skin feeling very refreshed. It retails for $14.99 for 150ml.

Second step is to tone the skin with Thursday Plantation Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Toner. It’s formulated with Witch Hazel that will help purify and tighten the pores without drying it out. It also contains tea tree oil to help remove impurities from the skin, Aloe Vera to help soothe and Lavender to help calm the skin. Its alcohol-free formula will help maintain the skin’s natural pH balance, to ensure your skin is never dehydrated.

Sadly to say, the toner is the step I usually skip in my daily facial regime. I know the importance and benefit of it, I just never see a dramatic result, which is why I quickly give up on them. I often wondered if I’m wasting my time, that was, until I tried the Thursday Plantation Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Toner. I’ve been applying a small amount to a cotton pad and gently wiping over my entire face after cleansing. It does accelerate the healing process faster when used in combo with the face wash foam. I did find the scent slightly stronger than the other products, so I’ve been saving this for nighttime use only. It retails for $13.99 for 100ml.

The third step, of course, is to moisturizer, Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Face Cream will not only hydrated the skin, but its lightweight texture won’t clog pores. It will help to restore the skin’s natural moisture balance after cleansing and toning, without leaving a greasy or oily residue. It contains a balance of natural moisturizing ingredients, including rosehip, Macadamia Oil, Shea Butter and vitamin E.

Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Face Cream has a light and creamy texture that almost melts into the skin. It does take a few extra minutes to fully absorb into the skin, if I apply it immediately after the toner, but if I wait a few minutes before applying, it soaks in much quicker. A little really does go a long way, only the smallest amount is needed to cover both face and neck. It doesn’t feel tacky, sticky or greasy and doesn’t seem to clog my pores, no matter how much I apply. It gives an extra boost of hydration that my dry, tired skin needs with a soft, smooth and supple texture. It’s extremely moisturizing without feeling too heavy, the perfect daytime moisturizer for under my makeup. It retails for $15.99 for 50g.

Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Medicated Gel For Acne is an extra product that might be ideal to add to your lineup. It’s a concentrated treatment that contains 20% tea tree oil to help treat pimples and acne on the spot. It’s an invisible gel that penetrates deep into the skin to help dissolve blackheads and whiteheads.

Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Medicated Gel For Acne highly concentrated formula almost immediately dries out my pimples and breakouts. Its gel texture applies easily and evenly to the skin and absorbs within seconds. I apply a small amount to my trouble spots both day and night, right after I apply my Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Face Cream. Since it soaks into the skin right away, I could easily apply my foundation overtop. I also found it not as strong as the rest of the collection, almost minty and slightly cooling on the skin. It retails for $11.99 for 10g.

Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Blemish Stick does pretty much the same thing as the Medicated Gel For Acne, but features a sponge tip on an easy to use wand applicator for easy application. It too has an invisible gel that goes undetected once applied and contains natural tea tree oil, vitamin E and spearmint oil to target spots as soon as they appear.

As much as I enjoy the convenient and portable applicator, I feel like I’m re-dipping the wand back into the tube and maybe causing more harm than good? I know my face is already fully cleansed and clean before I apply this treatment, but to me, I just enjoy the gel a lot better. It retails for $11.99 for 7ml.
