Ceramic Glaze Review

Escape to an exotic island with a rainbow of bright shades

We all love Shoppers Drug Mart for its accessibility, its large collection of our favourite brands, its affordable pricing and, of course, its Shoppers Optimum points. I often find myself in the nail polish aisle, but it wasn’t until recently that I fell in love with Ceramic Glaze, from the makers of China Glaze. Ceramic Glaze nail lacquers are exclusive to Shoppers Drug Mart and come in 37 on-trend, innovated shades. The collection features classic and contemporary shades, but this summer it’s all about bold, bright and neon shades.

Ceramic Glaze lacquers feature a unique formula with adhesives and plasticizers that help secure polish to the nail and helps prevent chipping, special clay ingredient that helps harden nails, along with extra pigments for saturated, opaque coverage. It’s free of DBP, Toluene and added Formaldehyde, making it safe to use daily. It has a unique finish which is a cross between a matte and gloss, if you’re looking for more shine, you can easily apply a shiny topcoat. Its non-thickening, easy to use brush, allows for smooth and even application and coverage. It’s opaque with only one to two coats, features a fast-drying formula and lasts on the nails for 3 to 4 days before some chipping occurs. Ceramic Glaze lacquers quick drying formula has me out the door in no time and its chip-free formula lasts throughout the week, so I can spend my summer on more important things, like the beach. It’s extremely pigmented, delivers long lasting shine that doesn’t look fake in super bright shades that scream summer. With over 35 different shades to pick from, you’ll be sure to find a shade that’s perfect for you. It retails for $10.99 at your local Shoppers.
