Changing the World, One Sequin at a Time

one sequin at a time

Gaga said it best, “I’m just trying to change the world, one sequin at a time”. I’m no stranger to a little sparkle and shine, although I know it’s not for everyone. I find if you look for a piece that features a slightly higher neckline, it will help to keep your all-over sparkly dress, (or in this case) a matching sequin top and skirt, on the sophisticated side of sexy. Keep your accessories and shoes simple, classic black, white or nude. For those not looking to fuss with jewellery, a sparkly clothing item will allow you to look party-ready without fussing over statement necklaces or annoying and heavy dangling earrings. As you can see, I kept my jewellery pieces pretty simple, just a classic black watch and bracelet, but this outfit would have looked equally as beautiful without these two pieces.

What I Wore- Sequin Top and Skirt- H&M, Celine Sunglasses- c/o Smart Buy Glasses, Marc Jacobs Watch- c/o Shopbop, Bracelet- c/o Pearls for Girls, Clutch- Ladd Accessories, Pumps- Le Chateau
