Cover FX Foundation Review

Cover FX Foundation Review

Favourite Foundation for a Flawless Face

I’ve recently been on the hunt for an organic foundation that provides me with the coverage I want and need, but with simple ingredients. Cover FX is talc-free, paraben-free, and mineral-oil free and comes in array of different formulas. Cover FX Natural Finish Oil Free Foundation comes in a handy squeeze tube and features a water-based liquid foundation that provides a sheer to full coverage. It has a silky smooth, silicone texture, without the silicone that glides on smoothly and evenly. It starts off very sheer, but is extremely buildable to provide full coverage without looking cakey or feeling heavy. It blends into the skin effortlessly and dries to a nice satin finish. It keeps skin from looking flat or overly shiny and its long-wearing formula lasts throughout the day without fading when used with a primer. One of my faves is the Cover FX Clear Prep Primer. It’s also more water resistant than other foundations making it perfect for hot summer days and humid climates, like Canada.Cover FX, Natural Finish, Oil Free Foundation, Foundation, Liquid Coverup, Liquid

Cover FX Natural Finish Oil Free Foundation can be used with a liquid foundation brush starting at the center of the face and blending outwards. You can then follow up with a concealer brush to provide more coverage on areas that require spot treatments. Set with a pressed mineral foundation or setting powder and you’re flawless look will last for hours on end. Canadian Beauty Blog, Canadian Beauty Blogger, The Pink Millennial, Blogger, Cover FX

Cover FX Natural Finish Oil Free Foundation does an excellent job at evening out my skin tone, along with reducing redness around my nose thanks to its vitamin C and E that helps soothe inflammation. It’s comfortable to wear all day and its moisturizing properties help protect against the damaging effects from the environment. A little goes a long way, it only takes a few drops to create a full coverage, flawless look. It feels amazing on the skin, it isn’t too heavy or greasy feeling and it doesn’t have that harsh chemical smell that other foundations have. I also find I’m using less setting powder, even when its humid outside, it still provides an oil-free look throughout the day without oxidising or turning my skin orange. It’s available in an array of shades, 23 in total, and gives a natural, flawless, soft finish to the skin. It retails for $37 for 1oz. Foundation, Full Coverage, Sheer wash of colour, Mac, Blog
Cover FX Pressed Mineral Foundation comes in a sleek, gunmetal compact with full size mirror on the lid and a high quality sponge hidden within. It has a light, fluffy and soft texture that provides a sheer to full coverage, matte finish. Its oil-absorbing microspheres and moisturizing benefits are perfect for setting liquid foundation with. It contains Amazonian Kaolin Clay which helps to absorb oils and detoxifies the skin. It’s also formulated with green tea and vitamins C and E which are hydrating, so it never looks cakey or drying on the skin. It lasts a solid 12 hours before starting to fade and oxidising a little. Cover FX Pressed Mineral Foundation can be used with a fluffy powder brush by starting with a light dusting all over the face and then following up with more powder and pressing into the tips of the bristles and applying in long, even strokes. In the areas where you may need a little more coverage, try pushing the side of the brush into the pan and then pressing and rolling it into the skin. When using as a setting powder, use a light hand and gently sweep across the face with a large powder brush.Pressed Mineral Foundation, powder, evens out skin tone, setting powder Canadain Blogger, Canada, Fashionista

Cover FX Pressed Mineral Foundation is perfect for traveling and touch-ups on the go. It has a sheer to medium coverage to start, but can easily be layered to achieve full coverage. It does a wonderful job at keeping the shine at bay, with little to no touch-ups needed. It evened out my skin tone, with only the smallest amount of powder and smoothed over pores, making them look almost invisible. It didn’t settle into fine lines and didn’t accentuate any dry areas on the skin. It too comes in 23 shades and retails for $36 for 0.4 oz.Cover FX Pressed Mineral Foundation (4)
