Go Strapless

Go Strapless

They’re sexy, they’re bold, they’re universally flattering and those are just a few of the reasons why I love strapless dresses. When looking to up-date my summer wardrobe, I always tend to look for cute summer dresses, especially the strapless ones.  Not only are they perfect for showing off your bronzed, sun-kissed shoulders, they’re easy to accessorize and keep you cool in the hot summer months. Today on this fashion blog I’m teaching you some tips and tricks on how to style a strapless dress.

Strapless dresses do come with their problems though, and can be quite annoying if you don’t get the proper fit, style and cut for your body type. Although small-busted women can usually rock a strapless without undergarments, if the dress alone provides enough support she needs, those with a fuller figure want to ensure they have a well-supported bra underneath. I highly suggest raising your arms above your head in the dressing room, and then bending over to make sure everything stays in place and doesn’t fall out. I know it’s not often you’ll be swinging your arms in the air or bending over in a strapless dress, but this will just ensure you have the best fit possible. I also look for dresses that feature an adhesive strap along the chest to help keep everything from slipping and sliding, but if your dress doesn’t’ come with that, double sided tape will work in a pinch.
