Another year older, none the wiser

Derek’s Birthday is today and he’s embracing getting older by celebrating all week. We had a lovely afternoon strolling downtown, enjoying some pulled pork at London’s Rib Fest with friends and finished the night off with a few drinks and a movie. I remember the days of being drunk by 9PM, partying till the sun came out and not remember much the day after. I guess we’re officially old now? Dancing the night away, being hung-over for days and not remembering anything are a thing of the past. We’d much rather celebrate with a few close friends over a few glasses of wine and be in bed by midnight. Of course it wouldn’t be a Birthday without a few gifts. Derek’s wish-list this year, a new Bulova watch, a new pair of white kicks and a few new shirts; done! Happy Birthday Sweetie!
