Herbal Essences Wild Naturals Collection Review

Exotic and crisp blend of Cassia

It’s been years since I’ve tried anything from Herbal Essences. It’s one of those brands I used to love in high school and then for some weird reason, stopped using it? The new Herbal Essences Wild Naturals Collection consists of three different collections to help detoxify, rejuvenate and illuminate with an exotic and crisp blend of Cassia, that naturally helps to strengthen each strand and protect against future damage. Hair is left touchably soft and smooth. Each collection features its own unique scent, Thai Lemon Basil, Turkish Fig, and Seaberry to help bring life to the wildly-energized, free-spirited adventure of Wild Naturals.

Herbal Essences Wild Naturals Detoxifying Collection is a zesty scent of lemon basil that’s enhanced with a refreshing blend of lemongrass and ginger, along with notes of basil verbena that intertwine with floral cassia. The base of the fragrance radiates warmth with notes of musk, vanilla and sandalwood. This three piece collection features a Detoxifying Cleanser to help deeply cleanses hair, a Conditioner to help protect and strengthen hair against future damage and prevent breakage, along with a Restoring Intensive Treatment to help protect hair and control frizzies.
Herbal Essences Wild Naturals Detoxifying Collection

Herbal Essences Wild Naturals Detoxifying Cleanser has an extremely lightweight, purifying formula that gently, yet thoroughly, cleansed my hair of product buildup, dirt and oil. It comes to a decent lather, so you know it is working, yet washes clean away. Its active Cassia ingredient naturally help to strengthen each strand, which in return, help prevent dry ends and breakage. Even while wet, my hair felt a little stronger, without feeling too heavy or sticky. As the week went on, I started to notice less fly-a-ways and my dry, dull ends, seemed a little healthier. It gives a shiny and glossy finish to my hair, without looking oily or greasy. It has an extremely floral/ herbal scent that you’d expect from the brand which can be a little overpowering for some (just something to keep in mind). It retails for $9.49 for 400ml.

Herbal Essences Wild Naturals Detoxifying Conditioner has a rich and creamy texture that deeply penetrates into each stand to fully condition and hydrate the hair almost instantly. It helped protect and strengthen my hair to prevent future breakage, while leaving it feeling incredibly soft, smooth and hydrated. I love that although it was extremely moisturizing, it didn’t leave my hair feeling weighted down. It retails for $9.49 for 400ml.

Herbal Essences Wild Naturals Detoxifying Restoring Intensive Treatment does an amazing job at keeping my dry, and prone to frizz hair incredibly silky, smooth and soft. This is one of the few rinse out treatments I can actually use without the fear of it weighting my fine hair down or leaving it greasy by mid-afternoon. I simply massage a dime size amount and rinse out after a few minutes. It really does keep the fly-a-ways under control the entire day, even without the use of my flatiron. My hair is left silky and shiny, as if I used a serum, but without the oiliness of it. It retails for $11.99.

Herbal Essences Wild Naturals Rejuvenating Collection is a rich and warm scent of Turkish fig accented with blackberry, cassis and juicy plum to help awaken the senses and give your hair a multi-dimensional look. A rich infusion of vanilla, musk and sandalwood makes an everlasting impression at the bottom for the perfect floral, yet fruity blend. Active Cassia helps to protect, deeply nourish and repair hair, while sealing in moisture to protect against future damage. This three piece collection features a Rejuvenating Shampoo to cleanse, deeply nourish and strengthen and protect hair against breakage, Rejuvenating Conditioner to deeply condition and restore hair’s natural moisture, along with a Rejuvenating Elixir to help leave hair as lush as velvet.

Herbal Essences Wild Naturals Rejuvenating Shampoo is a serum-infused formula that gently cleanses the hair. Although it didn’t come to the same rich and foamy lather as the Detoxifying shampoo, my hair still felt squeaky clean afterwards. It did a wonderful job at removing hairspray or my daily serum, without stripping my hair of its natural oils. It deeply nourished my dry stands and kept my hair extremely moisturized throughout the day, even without the conditioner. Its Cassia polymer formula helps to reduce and prevent future breakage in a lightweight, yet creamy texture. Hair looks healthier, smoother and incredibly shiny after only a short week. It retails for $9.49 for 400ml.

I haven’t really been using the Herbal Essences Wild Naturals Rejuvenating Conditioner, as the shampoo already did a wonderful job at keeping my hair hydrated with less tangles and knots, so why apply more product if I don’t have too? I did use it one day, just to get a feel for the texture and formula and it seems to be highly moisturizing without feeling too heavy. My hair was almost too soft and silky, and I had a hard time styling it. I think this would be excellent for those with thicker, fuller hair than I have? It retails for $9.49 for 400ml.

Herbal Essences Wild Naturals Rejuvenating Elixir is a potent serum that creates a protective shield on the hair to help seal in moisture and protect against heat, styling and environmental damage. I’ve been applying 1 to 2 drops on my freshly washed, yet damp hair, concentrating on my dry ends and working the rest of the oil upwards. This is the perfect pre-heat tool serum that doesn’t leave hair feeling heavy or greasy. With only a few drops, in only a few short days, I could already feel it deeply conditioning my dry hair. It not only helps to keep my hair incredibly soft, but over time, it will actually strengthen each strand. I’ve already used it a few times as a hair oil smoother, by applying it after I flat iron to help control frizz and fly-a-ways throughout the day. Whether I apply it to wet or dry hair, it never feels oily, yet adds a beautiful shine and sheen to my hair. It retails for $11.99.

Last but not least, the Herbal Essences Wild Naturals Illuminating Collection which includes an Illuminating Cleanser, a Conditioner and Dry Oil Spray. Since I’ve been busy these past few weeks testing out the Herbal Essences Wild Naturals Detoxifying and Herbal Essences Wild Naturals Rejuvenating collection, I haven’t actually gotten the chance to test this out- but rest assured, it is coming. It’s a sophisticated fragrance that enlivens the senses with a juicy blend of tropical fruits intertwined with vibrant seaberry. A floral blend of white jasmine and cassia is finished with a blend of blonde wood and sheer musk. It is designed to unleash hair’s natural shine, while strengthening and repairing damage. I think this is going to be the perfect summertime collection for high shine, healthy locks. Can’t wait to test it out.
