June 10th, 2013- Downtown Shopping

What else is there to do on a rainy afternoon than to do some downtown shopping? I sometimes forget that my city is full of cute little shops and boutiques in downtown London; I guess cause the shopping malls are just more convenient/ I hate paying for parking downtown. I do feel that sometimes I’m walking around with the same outfit as a hundred other people and I catch myself saying “I really should get downtown more” and then sure enough the next week I’m back shopping at my local mall.

Today I spend the afternoon walking around Richmond Row checking out a few of my favourite shops; although I didn’t find any gems, mostly because they didn’t have my size, I still enjoyed window shopping and seeing some of the latest trends to hit stores this season. Also a huge plus for me about shopping boutiques is the one on one treatment you get with the sale associates, it seems to me they really love their job and enjoying helping you out. I swear I could spend an hour in each store just browsing and chatting with the staff, where in chain stores I just want to get in and out. Does anyone else feel this way?
