Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk for Brown to Dark Hair Review

Last month I attended a Klorane second day hairstyling event, where I had a private one on one consultation with celebrity hairstylist, Caroline Bufalini. We talked about my hair concerns, how often I washed my hair and what I look for in a good dry shampoo. Since I wash my hair daily, and this isn’t about to change, she recommended Klorane Leave-In Cream with Desert Date and Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk for Brown to Dark Hair.

Like I said, I wash my hair every morning, but that doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate a good dry shampoo. Now that the hot summer months are upon us, my hair will become more greasy and oily as the day goes on, due to the humidity and constant sweating. The brand new Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk for Brown to Dark Hair is specifically designed for those with darker hair, like myself. It features a soft and natural beige shade, that took 3 years in the making to develop, that blends itself with the hair for a never dull, totally invisible finish. Although most dry shampoos “claim” to be clear, this one actually is. Us dark haired ladies are always in fear and run the risk of having a white, nasty residue left behind. For someone who has lighter or blonde hair, this white residue goes pretty much undetected, but really shows up on darker hair. Of course, this new formula has all the same great benefits, cleansing, volumizing, shaping properties, as the original (found here), just with us dark hair girls in mind. It retails for $15.50 for 150ml.

Klorane Leave-In Cream with Desert Date is a daily nutritive treatment that’s designed for those with dry, damaged and brittle hair. This leave-in cream will help to instantly penetrated deep down into the hair fibers to repair and transform hair into supple, silky, smooth locks. It’s formulated with fatty acids and proteins from the desert date, which help to strengthen and smooth the hair. Its silicone-free formula coats each strand and helps to seal in moisture, while preventing split-ends. It has a total weightless texture that never leaves the hair feeling heavy, greasy or oil.

I’m always a little worried about “leave-in” treatments, as I have extremely fine hair and I don’t want it to look greasy by mid-day. I’ve been applying a dime size amount of Klorane Leave-In Cream with Desert Date to towel-dried hair in the am and styling as usual. It does a wonderful job at controlling frizz and fly-a-ways, even before my straighter. In fact, I find I’m reaching less and less for my heat tools after applying this cream. Best part is, it doesn’t leave my hair looking oily like other products. Not only is my hair super soft and supple, it’s much more manageable with a sweet fruity scent that’s good enough to eat. It retails for $12.95 for 125ml.
