L’Occitane Immortelle Oil Makeup Remover Review

Squeaky clean skin

The newest member of the L’Occitane Immortelle precious range is L’Occitane Immortelle Oil Makeup Remover, coming to you this spring. This silky cleansing oil helps to remove even the most stubborn makeup, as well as impurities that buildup throughout the day. It’s enriched with organic immortelle essential oils to help dissolve face and eye makeup, while gently smoothing the skin with each use.

L’Occitane Immortelle Oil Makeup Remover comes in a clear plastic, pump dispenser bottle with a lightweight, oily texture liquid within. It gently and thoroughly breaks down all traces of makeup, dirt and excess oil. It does have an oily residue, but washes clean away without leaving a greasy film on the skin. Once in contact with water, the oil will instantly transform into almost a white milky texture that really helps to dissolve all makeup. It leaves skin fairly moisturized without feeling dry and has a light and refreshing, almost herbal scent that isn’t too overwhelming.L’Occitane Immortelle Oil Makeup Remover review, l'occitane immortelle, oil makeup remover, makeup remover,

L’Occitane Immortelle Oil Makeup Remover does a wonderful job at removing everyday makeup and long-wearing products, but when I’m wearing a full coverage foundation, I need to go back in a second time. Although not impossible, I also have to spend an extra few seconds and really focus on removing my waterproof mascara. It just seems to take a little longer to breakdown the waterproof mascara. It helps to hold a cotton pad over the lashes for a few seconds and then gently glide across the eyelid. To remove dark and bold lipsticks, simply get a few drops on the end of a cotton swab and roll over your lips. It instantly takes off all colour.L’Occitane Immortelle Oil Makeup Remover review, l'occitane immortelle, oil makeup remover, makeup remover,

Since L’Occitane Immortelle Oil Makeup Remover is an oil base, it does leave behind somewhat of an oily residue on the skin. This is not a deal breaker for me, as it washes clean away with a mild cleanser and water, which I always use after my makeup remover anyways. Because of its oily texture, it actually keeps my skin fairly hydrated without feeling tight or dry, like other makeup removers. It also didn’t clog my pores or cause breakouts, so I think it would be excellent for all skin types? It leaves my skin feeling and look squeaky clean, soft and smooth. It retails for $32 for 200ml.L’Occitane Immortelle Oil Makeup Remover review, l'occitane immortelle, oil makeup remover, makeup remover,
