Beachy Jewelry Collection
I was recently introduced to a Sweden company called Pearls for Girls, and although it originated by designer, Ulrica Fosshagen, in 2005, it wasn’t until now that it was available in Canada. It’s a collection of fashion forward, costume jewellery that offers gorgeous styles, high quality pieces at an excellent value. It’s based around and inspired by the diversity and individuality of the people and places Ulrica met while growing up in Sweden. This summer, Pearls for Girls has come out with 4 new collections that highlight the balance between femininity and style, Sweet Pastel, Black Rose Rock, Tropical Paradise and Golden Summer
Pearls for Girls Sweet Pastel collection features soft pink and mint green using freshwater pearls, rose quartz, pink opal, amazonite and aqua chelsea. Black Rose Rock collection expresses wild, natural elegance with beautifully set pieces incorporating leather, animal prints, black agate and geometric patterns. The Tropical Paradise collection brings bright greens and turquoise to the forefront with a beachy feel using pearls, peridot, moonstone and synthetic turquoise. Gold Summer mixes subtle and smooth with soft and pure with fresh pieces of gold and black onyx accented with aqua chelsea and amazonite.
Pearls for Girls will not only help you look and feel fabulous, but it will encourage you to celebrate your own unique style and personality. Each piece is designed in Sweden and hand-tied and assembled in at all-female production facility in Asia by 35 local women. Each piece is done in gold, rose-gold and silver-plated and feature fresh water pearls, semi-precious stones and crystals that are sourced from countries from around the world.
Today I’m featuring a shell pearl and glass bead necklace ($48), freshwater pearl and shell bracelet ($33), Olivia Bracelet in Silver ($38) and a silver plated, freshwater pearl and crystal bracelet ($24).
