Punta Cana Getaway

If you follow me on any form of social media (Twitter or Instagram), you would have noticed that Derek and I traveled to Punta Cana for 7 beautiful days in the sun. It was a somewhat last minute, we booked a week before we left, but it was a much needed getaway. It’s been years since we traveled to Dominican, and we were on the fence between it, Mexico (again) and Vegas (again). Since we’ve been to both Mexico and Vegas in the past few years, we decided on Dominican. We had the perfect weather, no rain, food was great, drinks were even better, beach was relaxing and the pools were pretty much kid free. I couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing holiday. We need to getaway more often, hardest part is actually setting the date. Once it’s booked, it’s so much easier to leave everything behind.
