Stila Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eye Shadow is a buildable, high-metallic cream eyeshadow that gives a striking foil finish to the eye. You’re able to create an unlimited wide variety of effects from light, sheer shimmery looks to high-metallic opaque creations. Stila Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eye Shadow set comes with a deluxe Stay All Day Liquid Eye Primer, one Magnificent Metal shade and a small metal mixing tray. The shadow itself comes in a small round pot with a very thick, very creamy, glitter eyeshadow within. It’s extremely pigmented, super intense with chunky glitter throughout and it stays put throughout the entire day.
To apply, you can simply use your fingertip to gently press/ pat on the Magnificent Metals and then blend out. You can also, and my favourite, although a little time consuming, is becoming a mad scientist and mixing your own. You start by adding a few drops of the Stay All Day Liquid Eye Primer into the handy mixing tray that’s provided, followed by a small dab of the Magnificent Metals. Simply swirl primer and shadow together and then use your fingertip to gently press the mixture onto eyelid. For a bolder, more intense, high- metallic finish add additional layers. The primer helps to not only prep and prime the eyelid, but it creates long-lasing adhesion to the lids.
Stila Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eye Shadows are super unique, truly opaque with only the smallest amount, and something I’ve never seen before. I’m not sure about using them on a daily basis, as it takes extra time to apply, it can get a little messy and is pretty tricky to remove. You’re left with a ton of glitter all over your eyelid and underneath and when used with the primer it takes a good 5 minutes to completely dry. I think these are wonderful for special occasions and girls night out, as you’ll be sure to make a statement and channel your inner rock-star with them.
