My favourite day of the year, my charity’s annual tea party. It was our 6th one and the biggest one yet. For those that don’t know, I’m one of the 5 board members of the DASH charity, who’s committed to sustain hope in the lives of those who need it the most. It’s in honor of my BFF, who passed away from cancer back in 2008, we celebrate this day in her honor. Amidst years of bad news, operations, challenges, chemotherapy, setbacks, operations, obstacles and radiation, Kristen never lost hope. We’re her living legacy to never lose hope and are committed to raising money to assist and ease the financial burden of those diagnosed with cancer and their families. Kristen loved her tea, whether she was having a good or bad day, feeling healthy or lousy, she enjoyed quality bonding time over a warm cup of tea. It was a time to relax and unwind, share stories, hopes, fears and dreams with those people in her life whom she loved the most. We honoured her tradition today and took time to remember life is short and to cherish precious moments with the ones you love.

I’ve got to meet some pretty strong, beautiful and amazing women over these past 7 years, and of course, our events wouldn’t be a success without them. I would also like to thank each and every one of our sponsors and donors, we couldn’t have done it without them. Also a huge and special shout-out to Revlon for being our #1 sponsor 3 years in a row. Each guest was lucky enough to take home a teacup and saucer filled with Revlon goodies.
