Trio of Marc Jacobs Daisy Blush Spring 2016 Collection Review

Marc Jacobs Daisy

Marc Jacobs has released a trio of limited edition Daisy Blush fragrances that are designed to help jumpstart your summer senses and leave you instantly day-dreaming of cute summer clothes to come. Done in super girly, girly, pink glass bottles, each scent takes on the original scent, but with a crisp, fresh twist. All three scents are the perfect combination of both fresh fruity notes and lovely floral notes, but all share the same base notes of musk or woody notes such as cedar, to help with the longevity of the perfume. All three are definitely a feel-good fragrance, as soon as you spritz some onto your skin, it instantly helps to uplift your spirits and immediately puts you in a good mood. These light and refreshing scents are perfect for both spring and summer.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Blush is like a fresh bouquet of flowers that sparkle on a warm, humid summer night. It comes housed in a vibrant pink bottle that features fresh petal pink and fuchsia daisies on the flacon. It opens with a dewy combination of water lily and frozen pears with just a subtle hint of honeysuckle and bergamot. The drydown is quite lovely and features both rich and creamy notes of mimosa, skin musks and precious woody notes. It’s the perfect mix of both floral and fruity notes that’s incredibly sexy, yet sophisticated at the same time. Although it is fairly strong and lasts for several hours on the skin, the dominate note being the mimosa, it isn’t overpowering or too overwhelming. This charming, sensual, yet somewhat girly scent is perfect for warm summer nights. This new limited edition bottle retails for $90 for 50ml.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh Blush is both rich, warm and radiant with a subtle blend of fruity and florally notes. It too comes housed in a vibrant pink glass bottle and features fresh petal pink and fuchsia daisies on the flacon. It opens with blissful notes of pink grapefruit, mandarin, apricot nectar and apple that quickly turns into a more florally scent with notes of freesia, roses and lily of the valley. The base notes consist of cedarwood and musk to help round out this velvety fragrance. Again, it’s the perfect mixture of florals, fruits and woody notes that instantly create a fun, vibrant and playful scent. This is slightly lighter, fresher and cleaner than the Marc Jacobs Daisy Blush and is also the sweetest out of the three fragrances, thanks to the citrusy note of the pink grapefruit. This makes the perfect daytime scent for both spring and summer. This new limited edition bottle retails for $100 for 75ml.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Blush is a light, refreshing and airy blend of luscious florals that just screams summertime fun and is brand new to the Marc Jacobs fragrance collection. It comes housed in a vibrant pink glass bottle and features sheer pink with satin-finished daisy petals on the flacon. It opens with violet leaves and waterlilies, middle notes of colourful roses, lily of the valley and vetiver, and base notes of clean musks, bergamot and freesia. This too is another fresh and clean scent, but is much more florally than the other 2, thanks to its lily of the valley note. This is the perfect transition fragrance from your heavier, richer and warmer winter perfumes.  This new limited edition bottle retails for $90 for 50ml.
