Orange is probably not the easiest colour to wear, the fact that it’s quite bold and bright can leave it a little overpowering if done in the wrong material, cut or print. That being said, it’s actually a versatile colour and can pair beautifully with an array of different colour combinations. A great way to let the bold tones of the orange to stand out, without competing with any other colour, is to pair it with neutrals. Anything from your basic black to nudes, your look will be more clean and refined than a fun, punchy characteristic. Looking to have a little more fun, try combining a bold orange hue with unique print. This is a very effortless approach to putting together a visually interesting outfit. It gives enough brightness and dimension to lighten up any look. Want to go even bolder, combine an orange, a bold print and a complimenting colour, like teal or turquoise. Turquoise and orange together is certainly a cheery pairing, making it the perfect colour combo for summer. It’s a little less intimidating then other colour combinations, yet still makes a statement. How fabulous is this new H&M skirt I just picked up?
