Although the Urban Decay Naked Illuminated Shimmering Powder for Face and Body comes in a fairly bulky box, the stunning bronzy packaging makes up for it. It features a hidden compartment at the bottom that’s secured with a magnetic closure and contains a mini application brush below. Its dome shape design features a unique baked formula that contains micro-fine shimmer with the colour payoff of a loose powder, but the convenience of a pressed powder. It has an incredibly thin, soft and lightweight texture that is blendable and applies seamlessly to the skin. It features light-reflecting particles that gives a luminous and radiant effect to both the face and body. It’s fairly pigmented and lasts for 8+ hours on the skin before slowly fading.

Urban Decay Naked Illuminated Shimmering Powder for Face and Body in Lit is a soft bronze shimmer with a gold bronze sparkle throughout. It gives a soft, glowing effect that instantly illuminates the skin for a fresh, radiant sheen. It is quite glittery and probably best suited for the evening or holiday parties or for someone who doesn’t mind a little shimmer. Its innovated universal shade looks equally as beautiful on my extremely pale skin as it would on someone with a deeper complexion. It gives a subtle slow, enough colour to give the effect you want and need, without looking over the top or too dramatic.

Something to keep in mind for those that don’t like a lot of sparkle, the Urban Decay Naked Illuminated Shimmering Powder for Face and Body in Lit does have a fair amount of glitter throughout. Although it claims to have micro-fine shimmer, it’s not as finely milled as other products I’ve tired. The shimmer is quite large, and for those not looking to accentuate enlarged pores or fine lines, might find this to be too much? If you’re not a huge fan of shimmer or glitter this can still be used around the holidays or New Years to add a little glam to your look. You can easily buff most of the oversize particles into the skin, or brush them away with the brush, which gives a more luminous glow, than straight up glitter. It retails for $35.
