Awe, the Western Fair. A classic London event that takes place every September and something Derek and I look forward to, year after year (even though nothing ever changes). The fact that it’s during our anniversary week, makes it even better. We have a reason to spend endless amounts of money on silly games trying to win a prize that we will end up tossing a few days later. Where else on the planet would you be okay with spending $20+ to win a $2 toy? It’s also an excuse to eat obscene amounts of food, like cotton candy, corn dogs, candy apples, elephant ears and mini donuts without feeling guilty. It’s now a yearly tradition on our anniversary to spend it at the fair. I’m absolutely obsessed with the farm animals and every year we almost come home with a pot-bellied pig.
