Winter Floral Dress

Winter Floral Dress

Cold, chilly days

These days, I’ve been living in jeans, faux leather pants and sweaters. I used to be into girly dresses and high heels, and as I look through my closet, I have all these beautiful dresses that don’t get enough wear during the cold, chilly winter months. Most people see floral dresses as a spring and summer month item, but floral dresses can be worn in fall and winter too. I love floral dresses so much, I want to be able to wear them all year round. My number one tip when picking out a winter floral dress, is to pick a heavier material, for obvious reasons, and choose a pattern rich in colour, like purple, hunter green, brown or navy. Also don’t be scared to mix it with other statement and patterned pieces to keep it warm and cozy. Today, I pulled out one of my favourite Smart Set floral dresses and layered it with my an army green jacket to keep me warm. It’s perfect for a brisk Monday, looking both feminine and cozy. Since we’re still without snow, I can get away with no boots.
