Wortley Village

fashion blogger

Derek and I spent the evening strolling around Wortley Village, which is located in the heart of Old South in London. It’s been a thriving neighbourhood for years and the first elementary school I went to was in this historical area. This charming London community has actually been voted one of Canada’s coolest neighbourhood, so if you’re ever in the Forest City area, be sure to check it out. Coffee houses and bistros line the streets for blocks and you can spend hours sipping on cappuccinos and shopping for anything from antiques and art, to kitchenware to clothing. It’s coveted one of the best places to live in London and is filled with 19th-century homes. Just spending a few hours walking around and it will leave you feeling right at home. It really does have that small-town charm with a real community feel. Everyone walking their dogs, biking or just out for an evening stroll will stop and have a full conversation with you, it’s a nice change to the rest of the busy city.
