Polette Eyewear

Custom Frames

I love a good entrepreneurial story, but when it’s about a 16 year old who gave up everything to follow his dreams, it’s even better. Meet Pierre Wizman, a young boy whose goal was to cut out the middle man between the consumer and manufacturer when buying eyewear online. He started his website in 2011, where the quality was high, but the prices were low. Polette has a wide selection of both prescription, non-prescription and sunglasses with styles starting at just $6.99. You first pick your frames, followed by the lenses in either fashion lens, anti-scratch or reflective, along with your lens tint and your ideal level of tint. There you have it, custom eyewear with a price everyone can afford. If you’re having a hard time deciding if the frame will suit your face shape, not to worry, simple try on your favourite pair with their virtual try-on tool that allows you to upload your own picture so you can visually see what’s its going to look like on.

  1. Hey! I’m from out in Montreal and I just came across this company and was wondering approximately how long it took to get them (shipping wise)? Just asking because I’m going on a trip in May and was wondering if they’d make it to me in time if I ordered soon! Thanks in advance! :)

  2. ooh I think you’ll be safe, my first pair took about 2 weeks, second pair took about 3 weeks, I don’t think it would take any longer than that- you could always contact them and ask though- better safe than sorry hehe
