I may not be off on an African Safari, but I can get lost in a mysterious and exotic world this summer with the new limited edition Lise Watier Eden Tropical Summer 2014 Collection. It features lush colours done in pink, blues and bronzes that evoke the hues of a tropical paradise.
Lise Watier Eden Tropical Eyeshadow Palettecomes in the most beautiful packaging I’ve seen in a long time. Done in a square, sleek, bold, jungle theme compact with a full size mirror on the lid. It contains 6 must have tropical summer shades with both matte and shimmer finishes. It features a cream-to-powder formula that applies evenly and smoothly with little to no fallout. Not highly pigmented, but extremely buildable without looking chalky. It provides true opaque colour payoff in a few easy swipes and its long-wearing formula can withstand the humidity and heat without creasing or fading throughout the day.
Lise Watier Eden Tropical Eyeshadow Palette is the perfect summer palette with a mixture of earth tones with bright summer shades done in 2 different finishes. On the right side you’ll find a shimmery white shade that’s perfect for highlighting and 2 matte shades done in pink and brown. On the left side is green, light gold and blue, all with a shimmery finish. Although a few shades are not highly pigmented, they all blend in beautifully with each other. Sometime less is more in the summer and you just need a few sheerer shades to really make your eyes pop. It retails for $43.
Lise Watier Eden Tropical Bronzing Powder also comes in the same stunning, jungle theme compact with full size mirror on the inside lid. This perfect duo contains both a bronzer and peach blush that can be used individually or mixed together for the perfect summertime glow. It has a creamy and soft formula, with just the right amount of shimmer that applies and blends into the skin effortlessly. It has little to no fall out, even though it does have some shimmer, it doesn’t emphasize imperfections and stays on the cheeks throughout the day without fading.
Lise Watier Eden Tropical Bronzing Powder is ideal for those looking for a healthy summer complexion within the same palette. The peach blush is perfect for creating a healthy, rosy, glow on the cheeks, while the golden bronzer creates a radiant, sun-kissed look. The bronzer has a matte finish that’s extremely easy to work with and blend out wonderfully when combined with the centre, shimmery blush. It gives a luminous, natural glow to the cheeks and retails for $38.
Lise Watier Eden Tropical Blush Creme Satin comes in a clear, round pot, to show the colour within. It features a rich and creamy formula that almost turns into a mousse like texture once applied to the skin and dries to a powder finish, talk about being unique. It glides on flawlessly and offers great blendability with either your fingers or a cream brush. Its sheer formula allows you to create a natural, satin look, but is extremely pigmented, allowing you to build the colour for a bolder, more dramatic look.
Lise Watier Eden Tropical Blush Creme Satin extraordinary formula might be my favourite out of the collection. I love that you can apply it with your fingertips to the apple of your cheeks and blend out without the use of a brush. It’s perfect to use as a base colour, before your powder blush, to add an even bolder, vibrant cheek colour that will hold throughout the day. Its lightweight formula never feels greasy or oily and adds just the right amount of colour for a seamless, flush, cheek look. It comes in 2 limited edition shades, Rose Eden and Coral Paradise for $24.

Lise Watier Eden Tropical Hydra Kiss Colour Balm comes in a retractable, twist up design that requires no sharpening and features a precise tip for easy application. It’s a cross between a lipstick, a gloss and balm. It has the vibrant colour payoff of a lipstick, ultimate glossy, shiny finish of a gloss with the hydrating and moisturizing benefits of a balm. It has a buttery soft, rich and creamy formula with intense pigmentation and opaque finish in one easy swipe. It glides onto the lips with ease, it is comfortable to wear through the day and lasts a solid 4 to 5 hours before fading.
Lise Watier Eden Tropical Hydra Kiss Colour Balm defined tip requires no mirror when applying, yet you can still easily achieve a precise and accurate look. It gives a bold punch of colour that’s easy to use, thanks to its twist up design. It keeps my lips moist, provides an irresistibly smooth finish with a super shiny lacquer effect. Lise Watier Eden Tropical Ombre Souffle Supreme comes in a clear, glass jar and is formulated with anti-aging ingredients and enhanced with the power of the exclusive concentrated Labrador tea extract. It has a lightweight, silky soft, air-whipped creamy texture. The thin mousse formula provides medium pigmentation coverage, but can be a little difficult to build. It’s extremely blendable, with only the use of your fingertips (or of course a brush). It stays put for hours on end when used with a primer.
Although Lise Watier Ombre Souffle Supreme are not new, I have yet to test them out, till now. Let me just tell you, these have the most unique texture, I’ve ever tried. It reminds me of those squishy Maybelline Bouncy Blushes, but only way creamier and with the bounce back. It has the perfect amount of shimmer that looks great worn alone or paired overtop of another shade. I wouldn’t suggest skipping a primer with these, as its creamy texture will probably crease and fade easily. It comes in 4 new shades, Prun Astral, Tinker Bell, Sortilege and Wonderland and retails for $24.

Lise Watier Eden Tropical 24 HRS Gel Liner comes in a clear, glass jar and has a soft, smooth, creamy, gel like texture. It’s easy to apply, glides across the lash line without pulling or tugging. It’s surprisingly very hydrating, goes on opaque with long-lasting hold. It dries within a minute, giving you plenty of time to apply more to intensify your look or smudge it out. It looks just as vibrant 12 hours later as it did when you first applied it with no smudging, no flaking and no fading.
I was extremely impressed on how easily Lise Watier Eden Tropical 24 HRS Gel Liner glided across my lashes and how pigmented it was. When they say jet black, its jet black. I don’t think it could get any darker? I’m more of a liquid liner kinda gal, because powder liners always fade within hours and gel liners are never creamy or bold enough. This couldn’t be any easier to apply, use with an angled brush for precise lines or a silicone tipped brush for smooth application. It retails for $25.
Lise Watier Eden Tropical Nail Polish comes in a light-up cap bottle and features an high-precision brush for easy application. It has a rich and creamy formula that glides on smoothly and evenly and its precise brush covers the entire nail in 2 easy swipes. It’s pigmented, completely opaque in as little as 2 coats and is quick drying. It lasts for a solid 3 to 4 days before chipping. It comes in 2 new, limited edition, vibrant, spotlight shades that match perfectly with the rest of the collection, Rose Eden and Coral Paradise for $13.50.
